JADES-GS-z14-0 is the most distant galaxy ever observed, discovered by the James Webb Space Telescope in 2024. Located in the constellation Fornax, it has a redshift of 14.32, meaning we see it as it was about 290 million years after the Big Bang. Despite its early age, it's surprisingly large and bright, indicating intense star formation. Observations also detected oxygen, suggesting rapid chemical evolution. This galaxy challenges current theories about how fast galaxies and elements formed in the early universe.
